ScheduleSpark ("we", "our", "us") operates the website at schedulespark.com. We provide shift scheduling software for small and medium-sized businesses. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it.

2. What We Collect

Email address (waitlist)

When you join our early-access waitlist, we collect your email address. We use it only to send you product updates and your account invitation. We do not sell or share it with third parties.

Usage analytics

We use Firebase Analytics (Google) to understand how visitors interact with our site — pages visited, button clicks, and general traffic patterns. This data is anonymised and aggregated. No personally identifiable information is tied to analytics events.

Cookies

Firebase Analytics sets a first-party cookie to distinguish unique sessions. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking cookies.

3. How We Use Your Data

To send you product updates and your early-access invitation (email only)
To understand which features matter most to our users (analytics)
To improve site performance and fix issues
To comply with our legal obligations

We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties except as described in Section 4.

4. Third-Party Services

Firebase (Google LLC) — analytics and hosting infrastructure. Data may be processed in the United States. Google is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

No other third-party services receive your personal data during the current waitlist phase.

5. Data Retention

We keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Analytics data is retained for 14 months per Firebase defaults. You can request deletion at any time by emailing us.

6. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Correct inaccurate data
Request deletion of your data
Object to or restrict certain processing
Withdraw consent at any time (e.g., unsubscribe from emails)

7. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption and access controls to protect your data. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information you share with us.

8. Children's Privacy

ScheduleSpark is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted their information to us, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. We will notify waitlist subscribers by email for any material changes. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the latest revision.
